I was making a quick inventory list of all my gear just in case today, with serial numbers and stuff like that, and I noticed that I couldn't find any type of identification/serial number on my Nakamichi CM300's. I was just wondering how Nakamichi kept up with their production when they made these things...

I've never noticed any serials on my collection of Primo mics. I have disassembled one before but dont remember any numbers.
Some came with frequency response plots - I'll dig one out and see if it references any serial or just model
The Nak 300/100 mics were made by Primo. The Tascam PE-120, TEAC ME-120, TEAC ME-80 as well as models branded "Primo" - are all the same as a NAK300.
You can still buy new omni and card caps

The CM1000 caps have serial numbers, but nothin on the bodies. Weird.
