Nick,

You're in N.Carolina, correct?

You should at least find some time to check out Soliloquy speakers. They are built in NC, and shipping is a major consideration with speakers, so it might be well worth the effort to check them out.
Incredible speakers, with heirloom grade finishes (more wife friendly). World class sound.

oh dont worry moke, I have every intention to go over and listen to solioquy's as well...I have been putting off visiting their factory as I am sure a purchase will soon follow :D

Too much redundant information! (he says in his best robot voice)
;D

You could do all of your audio shopping right there in NC it seems. Stop by Cary in Apex NC, get new amp, stop by Soliloquy, get speakers voiced for that amp. Life is but a dream.

I am pretty happy with the sony 3000 es for the time being, so my next purchase will be speakers...and who knows, given what they uncover, tubes may be the next step!
