Title: Mixing 2 Aud Sources
Post by: dmonterisi on August 31, 2005, 04:49:57 PM
so i have 2 24/48 sources for the jan 04 my morning jacket show.  u89 > uln-2 (card DIN) and 4021 (xy) > v3 > uln2.  i'm gonna mess around with mixing them together in a montage.  so i'm thinking about trying to use the u89 source for the lower frequencies and the 4021 source for the high frequencies and see how it comes out.  anyone have any suggestion on a good frequency as the cutoff between the two sources?  there will obviously be overlap somewhere in the mid-range as the slopes coincide.  anyone done something like this before?

i'm obviously bored.

edit to note the uln-2 was slaved to the v3 clock so there shouldn't be any clocking issues.

never tried it, but I'd say cross at around 1k and then adjust from there.
