Title: Soundcard for G5?

haven't really gotten started looking yet, but what soundcards will interface with my G5 mac (need a coax-in)?  Running my DA-20 > my old G4 is becoming far too time consuming.

you could go with the PCI or Firewire versions of the Audiophile 2496...those would be among the cheaper choices.
usb interfaces are usually fine for dat> pc transfers but you have to be careful that it doesnt resample(?Edirol, Creative?)
