Title: Having problems with Audacity

I just wanted to get familiar with the program before i started taping so i downloaded it. I dont have a JB3 yet so i decided to just plug my mics into my ua-5 and run it right into my computer...i cant get it to record anything though. Im either messing up the settings, or i cant do it. Help me

how are you inputting the signal to your computer?

i just dont know how to set the preferences right...like the sample rate and such
