Title: oktava ???'s
Post by: Krispy D on September 19, 2005, 02:59:24 PM
does anyone know the difference between the mc 012 and the mk 012?  just curious.  I've been thinking about picking up a pair for a while as a cheap pair of back up mics and am well aware of the difference between the russian and the chinese but I'm not sure about the c/k designation.

thanks

kris

The mc and mk are the same, just a difference in translation based on the country they were exported to.  The chinese are ease to spot, they have a flat contact between the capsule and bory instead of a pin/socket like the russian ones.

Just an FYI.  I've got a pair for sale in the yard sale.  The Russian-pin type.
