Anyone have any recommendations for places in the UK that will make modifications and/or repairs to electrical equipment?

I can Google to my hearts content but there's nothing like personal recommendation before you entrust your precious gear to someone's soldering iron!

What equipments do you want to repair? If it is HHB or Sony DAT recorders, I think you can send it directly to HHB or Sony.
