I'm thinking about downsizing from my current Josephson c42mp > t-mod UA5. I'm looking at going to a DPA 4061 > DPA mma6000 setup. Might keep the UA5 but I'm not sure.
Anybody know the best place to check for a good deal?

From what I've heard, there is very little margin on those mics. You'll probably only get a deal if you can find some demo units, etc.. Someone recently did that and found that they weren't that well matched, as I recall. I bought mine on ebay for about $385. I've heard of folks having trouble with ebay DPA's but mine are excellent.

Yea, that was me w/the demos that weren't matched, but they wouldn't have been matched if I had bought them new anyhow. When I shopped around, most people had the mics for around the same price.

To use an MMA6000, that means you need the microdots... which rules out the vast majority of the ones you'll see on ebay with the connectors.
