ISO: Nero (or other SW) for writing *data* DVDs.

I'm looking to write some of my audio files to DVD *as data files* from my laptop to an external DVD drive.
Can anyone suggest a program that will run under Windows XP?

I got an OEM disk for Nero 5.something, but that program is *locked to a particular drive*!!!
Damn annoying.  It does not recognize anything but a LG CDR drive it came with, and of course, that doesn't write DVDs.

Thanks for any help,
  Richard

Thanks, I got some info by PM.

It looks like Nero is the package to get.  Perhaps this will solve my ongoing problems with writing reliable audio CDs as well.

In some ways I hate Windows.  Nothing comes bundled, and it is not clear what packages you need to get.  On the other hand, some of these applications are very good.  For example, being able to verify writes on CD and DVD looks solid.
