Post by: ts on October 16, 2005, 06:07:04 PM
I know this has been discussed before, I did a quick search but could not find anything. What are the differences? If any.

a shure fp24 is a rebranded mixpre.  The first, and imo, difference is customer support.  Sound Devices  ;D  Shure  ::)
MP2 has ms decoding.  Thats just off the top of my head.

also it appears that a shure will operate 5-14v and a mixpre will operate 5-18
