Title: Cost of Neumann KM184s vs. AKG 480s w/C61 caps
Post by: stvgray on October 22, 2005, 07:55:48 PM
Do these mics go for about the same money on the used market?

How much should a pair of each (not necessarily matched) cost?

this was the decision i was faced w/ in 99 when i bought my 480's, i went w/ the 480's because of the modular capsules, the 184's are, unfortunately, fixed cards

I've seen each go for $800 used. Anything less would be a great deal IMHO.
