I am looking to hear how the basic digi mod UA5 sounds at 24 bit...... might sound pretty nice
I want to make the jump soon to getting a 24 bit recorder, and have access to a d-mod...
any samples?

in theory shouldnt it sound the same as a regular ua-5 at 24-bit into a laptop via usb? if so then yes, i have many samples you can hear

I would agree with this statement. I've run my stock ua-5 at 24bit many times. It sounds good. Probably not as good as some of the other mods at 24bit but it would all depend on your ear.

All of my recordings were done with an Oade Digi-MOD UA-5 @ 24Bit.
I think it sounds pretty good. There tends to be a little noise in the Pre-amp section of a stock UA-5 but you get that at 24 or 16bit.

One of these days I may do a 24-bit T+ UA5 v. V3 comparison. I even have the XLR splitters handy. One of these days...

do it man!
that could be quite a telling comp

I don't think the V3 owners want to hear it.
$500 more for metering? ::) ;)
And a bomb proof box, thank you very much! ;)
