Has anyone ever built their own battery box? Are these good schematics?

Honestly, I have no idea. I haven't tried that design yet, but it seems to work for some of the people on the MD forum.

Shield of the mic should be soldered to GND (Ground). Same as (-) on the battery.
The schematic works fine for me.
