what is "AKG Dummy Head" ?
i'll take "Impossible to run FOB for $1000" Alex
-
that is for running binaural recordings, and it isn't a mic. The mics are incerted in the ear area. A binaural recording is supposed to simulate an acurate representation of the sound, but is best listened to with headphones.

Impossible? Mount it on top of a mic stand, slap a hat on it and hang a hanger with a shirt on it off the top and in the dark the security guys won't be able to tell the difference!
Dirk

I'm pretty sure they used the Neumann variety, but yes, they had one too.
