Post by: mattinbeloit on October 29, 2005, 03:09:19 PM
I'm going to be recording the Nickel Creek concert tomorrow on Mac iBook G4. I would like to be able to set the levels and everything then close up the laptop and stik it in the bag. The only thing is when you close the screen on these things they sut down, is there any way i can get it not to shut down when i close the screen???

the machine vents through the keyboard.  if it was run closed (which it can't be), it's overheat

you can keep it about 3/4 of an inch open though.  tape down a dat case or something by the trackpad.  it should close enough without shutting off
