Title: Jolida 700 DVD player
Post by: Nick's Picks on October 31, 2005, 04:52:36 PM
anyone ever heard this?

DVD deck w/tube output on left/right front output.  fully balanced... plays everything but SACD.  Coolest part...volume controll.  so you can hook it right up to an amp.
but i cant find any info on them.  would love to know the a/d chips.

JD100 CD only sounds very sweet, and uses a Burr-Brown.

A'gon has a Dynaco CDV Pro, so rare and interesting... circa 1998..

I tried doing some research when I was looking for a source & did not find much info on the 700, it seems to be overshadowed bu the "other" model.

looking at the casing of that thing id assume it needs way more ventilation.  id think those tubes can get really hot.

I don't think preamp tubes really get hot... isn't it power tubes that scorch?
