I used to use zone alarm. the new version (newest I've tried) will not allow bit torrent to work even though you tell it to. tried outpost on my PC but fucking hate it. right now on the laptop I'm using mcsuck b/c it came on it. that will run out soon so what do y'all use? not getting any norton/mcsuck so save it.....

The ones you've listed are the ones I know most folks would recommend, so...
Have you double and triple checked all your network and ZoneAlarm configs?
Tried a different BT client?
Tried contacting ZA support?

I've used Sygate (http://smb.sygate.com/products/spf_standard.htm) for years and love it.
The standard (read: free) version should be all you need, but the pro version has some nifty little extra features.
Nice, clean UI, not a resource hog, easy to "set and forget". I don't have my computer on without it running. :)

i highly recommend agnitum outpost pro. its relatively unobtrusive (compared to za which did my head in after about 5 mins), it seems to do the job, and i it was pretty easy to set it up with azureus.

I have been using outpost (not pro) torrents worked fine but it would randomly block sites for no reason. even gmail. yes I shnged the settings etc. grabbed tiny firewall pro off oink last night and so far so good. easy to use and seems to be working just fine.
