Title: Matrix help
Post by: swkelley on December 02, 2005, 01:22:37 PM
What is considered the best software available for taking an audience and a soundboard recording and converting them into a matrix recording?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Stan

well, there is a clear cut difference between the best and something that will work.  Most around here use Audacity.  I believe it is free.  Personally, I would use ProTools or Nuendo, but if all you are doing is making a matrix, those are way more than you need.  If you search around, there's about 100 threads on here about this exact topic.

I use wavelab 5. The "Audio Montage" function works excellent for Matrix jobs.
