Title: Sony MZRH910 MD Unit
Post by: ledblimp on December 05, 2005, 12:36:13 AM
Thinking about getting one. Anyone have any praises/ complaints about it?

I have the MZNHF800 unit. Is it comparable to that?

Thanks for any info,

Ron

I think they're pretty much the same.  OOPS.  I thought you meant the '900.

Umm.  The '910 is thinner, uses a square battery (like the 900), but apparantly plays MP3 directly.  Go to minidisc.org, "equipment browser" for full details.

My opinion is stick with the 800.  That's what I've got :)
A big improvement is to get the high end remote (comes with the high end units, or on Ebay).  This has level meters and a back light.  Now *that* is something great for recording...

yeah, defintely go with a backlit unit.it beats the hell out of having the mini-maglite on the keychain-LOL    its a solid unit overall though
