The AT 899 is certainly the capsule in the Sound Pro's SP-BMC-10 which is Omni.

If you really mean the SP-CMC-10 as stated above this is no longer on the SP website, but CMC is the ref for their Cardioid I think from memory the capsule in them was an AT943 with a Hyper pickup, possibly using an adaptor and the 853 cap on 943 body.
thanks guys.
just to confirm, I am asking about the sp-cmc-10's.
The only reference I can find to the mics they're based on is here: http://www.minidisco.com/sp-cmc10.html
...and I'm not sure i'd take their word for it.
i'm sure i've seen someone on here with a tag-line referring to them as at933's.
they do have hyper-caps.
perhaps they could be 933 bodies with the 853 caps?
anyone?
Sorry about that. I thought that was a typo on your part because I didn't see any sp-cmc-10's on the site.
My bad.
They're wrongly described on minidisco's site. They are SP-CMC-10s, but the capsure is ES943. AT853s are quite a lot larger.
Humbug
Atually no, scratch that, CMC8s are the cardioids. Guess thats an old page from minidisco?
jeps that are cmc8 mics with hyper capsules.
I think
SP-CMC-2= AT831
SP-CMC-4= AT853 *switchable cap
SP-CMC-6= Omni -AT943 *switchable cap
SP-CMC-8= Cardiod -AT943 *switchable cap
SP-CMC-10= Hypercardiod -AT943 *switchable cap
