Hi all,
I am a journalist and have just purchased a M-Audio Microtrack to record interviews which will be broadcast on the radio (NPR etc.). I will need an audio editing program for my Mac and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good piece of software for this type of application.
Thanks

Perhaps Audacity will suffice if you're not doing anything fancy? It's free anyway :)
I plan on buying DSP Quattro sometime early next year as it seems like a good program and doesn't cost too much (about $150).

Free: Audacity, Ardour

I second Sound Studio for simple work and it's cheap ($50.00 after the free trial) If you're more pc than mac literate audacity works well and is free. (I always hate it 'cause it looks and works like a windows program.) If you feel like paying performer is all I use and love it. 'team mac geaks' has been very helpfull for me and this topic is well covered. do a quick search and you'll find more than you want to know.
