Has anyone mounted mini cardiods like they would a standard set of mics? I have a pretty good set of minis that perform well and was thinking of doing some more taping with them, but I am sick of attaching them to my head.. :P Any suggestions.

This is excellent. I appreciate these pictures. I was really considering starting anew with a sort of setup like you have.
Ever had any problems with this?

Ghettofabulous! ;D t

no problems yet with using a ruler as a T bar. The mics are small enough that weight isn't an issue.
Ghettofabulous!
^^ It is pretty funny to see people do a double take when they see a ruler flying in the air.

I like the ruler idea. Easy to mark configs on, no problems measuring. And hey, if it works and you pull good tapes with it, why fuck with anything else?
By the way, do you have any tapes I could hear with your setup? I'm poor and just starting and CMC-2>Battery Box>JB3 (or like) looks pretty good to me.

Here's the shows I have on the archive:
IMO best recording to worst:
moe. 2005-04-14 http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=24887 (http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=24887)
The Southland 2005-03-05 http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=27280 (http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=27280)
O.A.R.: 2005-03-05 http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=23280 (http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=23280)
Umphrey's McGee: 2005-05-07 http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=25418 (http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=25418)
The Umphrey's recording sounds like a mono recording because the mics were not spaced far enough apart and were setup in a simple AB config. (11 inches apart) The other three were recorded in an AB config 23 inches apart.
I have some other recordings of local bands ran in some other configs that are not on the archive.
