Title: my brand new laptop just died

looks like the harddrive is bad.  >:(  a fucking month old.  no issues at all untill today.

started to freeze up.  tried to reboot and nothing.  gets to the dell logo then says PBR 2....done > then a blank screen.  did a diagnostics and get

dst short status failed

ide status failed

no drive detected


ran avg last night and found nothing.

Bummer. If you need any help I got a buddy that works at Dell that will hook it up if they give you the runaround.
