The first thing I did was a CTRL+F for "MSRP".  $799.99 isn't that bad for an HD camcorder, much less a small one.  I'd be interested in trying this one out.

Pretty cool - talk about a product being ahead of its time though.  With currently available 2GB SD cards, that's only 42 minutes of HD recording time.  Admittedly, you can drop to standard definition for 60min/gig which is a lot more reasonable.

Transcend makes a 4GB SD card that sells for about $250 from newegg.com.

This camera looks nice and has a great feature set.  Mark me down as impressed :)  The only thing I would be concerned about is on a vacation where I would normally go through 2-3 tapes.  I wouldn't want to buy 3 SD cards for a "just in case" scenario.
