Title: Neuros Recorder III finally happening?
Post by: OFOTD on January 12, 2006, 01:57:26 PM
Saw this on engadget today.  Don't know if this is going to pan out for tapers like we thought but I thought the story would be of interest here.....

Cool.  I wish it would pan out as a use-able taping / storage device.

"So, the Recorder III and the 442 Version 2 will both support DVD-quality video recording, and all three devices will provide 96KHz, 24-bit "audiophile" sound quality. They are all likely to operate as USB hosts to enable them to connect directly to media sources such as digital cameras and camcorders"

This sounds pretty promising to me. Even if they can't incorporate a SPDIF in, they might be able to support the UA5 and MiniMe over USB.
