ive run that combo w/ GREAT results
run DIN/DFC/On-Stage/Stage-Lip
in my hometown venue, thats the only time i run the HPF#2 on the v3 as well and only for lotus, but YMMV

in the middle, but spread the mics so as to get all the stereo imaging jazz...

How do you place the mics so they don't interfear - how high?
Two independant stands? Or just clamp each mic on their stuff? How far apart - roughly?
I would love to try this someday, as I'm a big fan of Lotus.

Keep in mind that with stage lip or onstage you lose alot of Chuck in the recording. The handsonic some times gets lost being he only uses a stage monitor. I have heard great recordings onstage but this usually is the case. Do you have a matrix option? I would go with that myself. Blessings!!

The two Lotus stage tapes I have made were missing a lot of what you could hear back in the room. They run way too much gear on DI's, so all you get from stage is the monitors. The FOB tape I made at the Stone Church last week came out so much better. You can hear all the samples and electronics like they should have been in the mix.
If the venue is set up to make it possible, I'd suggest running fob rather than onstage. We were right in the sweet spot @ the Church and it made a world of difference.
