Title: Rode NT6
Post by: Massive Dynamic on January 18, 2006, 05:01:21 PM
Saw this in a recent flyer, the Rode NT6 (http://www.rode.com.au/?pagename=Products&product=NT6&PHPSESSID=de8984b9251c2eddc4a3af6ee262d296) has an active cable setup, though there seems to only be a cardioid cap for now. Pricing is $700/pair through Sweetwater, maybe better deals can be had.

If these sound like the NT5 people might as well put a microphone in their ass and record from there. :P

It does seem tempting but don't be fooled I had the NT5s and poo on them.

They are identical to the nt5's  the highs drop off quickly after 10k.....not a good choice for distant micing.....

you didn't even need to name a model in there.  you could have said "if it isounds like a rode mic"
