Title: need help, file will not play in wavelab

I accedentally sent a waz file to the recyling bin, then I restored it it shows up as blank in wavelab?  It plays back fine in winamp it is the last 20 min of one of the best recordings I've ever made, please help

restoring a file from the recycle bin should have nothing to do w/ it

try restarting your comp ???

Odd as this may sound: try opening in CDWav and see if you can play back. If it does, "save as" the file to a new location and then try opening in Wavelab.

This is because CDWave can open it wthout the header. Saving it adds the correct header, so WaveLab will recognize it.

try deleting the .gpk fail to get it to rebuild the peaks.
