Title: JB3 showing incorrect free space? Urgent :)

Hi,

I done big delete of lots of wavs on my JB3 HD as I was running out of space.
However, the free space only shows 400 or so mb. I am sure this is wrong.
I have done a clean up from the diagnostic menu and this hasnt made any difference?
Any other ideas, I could format it , but would prefer not to if possible.
I have a gig tomorrow night I would like to tape :)

format is your best option.

Theoretically you should be after every few shows, it has to do with the fact it deletes things in sectors and you may have noise evident in your recording if its recording to free space all over the HD.  At least thats the picture i got.

Not sure whats up - But - FWIW - I never delete anything...just "Reformat" when it gets full - saves a lot of wear and tear on the harddrive. It seems like the JB3 OS goes crazy when you delete large files...
