def a good price and look well cared for. Love the wood rails on ML's.
I put in an offer on the Aerius's that are up on there, we'll see how it works out! :D

nice, but i'll take the JMlab Grand Utopia Be as my first choice speaker. Stereophile called them "the ultimate rock box"

Man... Watts and Puppies have gotten more and more expensive. There's always the DIY approach:

Personally I'm more of a B&W, Pro-Ac, and Totem fan, but both M-L and Wilson make some fantastic sounding speakers.

Love the highs from the JMlab speakers. Haven't heard the new Be tweeter but a while ago when I was shopping I compared the Cobalt 815's vs some Paradigm Reference Studio 80's. 80's were a little better overall and could rock and funk it up better than the JMlab's since they were a little less damped in the low end, but man did the JMlab's have some sweet sweet highs. IMHO that tweeter blew away the one in the Paradigm. The new Be tweeter is supposed to be a huge improvement over the old top-of-the-line one, so I can't even imagine how good it must be.

Is that with the Nick's Pick discount? Any of those on B stock???

doubtful

I bet those sounded... like ass in that guy's room. Need more breathing room!! Poor ML's.
Jason, how you like B&W, ProAc, and Totem is beyond me. The three of those speaker line couldn't be any more different from each other!! This coming from a dude who has had all three ;D
The VS9SE's are supposed to rock hard. But I've been hearing lots of good things about the DB99's. Anyone heard them?
Watt/Puppy... Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilson. Good speakers, although I haven't had them in house so no real comments other than the cop out. I nearly bought a pair of Sophia's but my wife thought they were hideous... Not sure why, I find them quite attractive ;D
-
i've also heard many good things about the db99's w/very low watt tube gear.

Without a doubt. Also, that front couch had to be crushing the sound stage.
I just need to figure out how to integrate the lower cabinets of my VR4's with my CLS panels >:D
I think that would be calles "Stetement E2?" >:D
Nick: good news. My dealer is getting a pair of DB99's. I have just the 1.45w tube amp for them...
-
cool.
and those are $10k. I can probably get them for 8k
