ok so I started having a problem with my V2 last week when i was trying to get things set up...everything was plugged in and ready and when I tried to turn the power on the V2 it kinda flickered but never came on. I checked my connections to make sure everything was properly snug and still no luck and have yet to get it to power back on...I was wondering if anybody has had this issue come up in the past with them and if so what they did to correct this. I cant imagine what it could be considering the weekend before that I ran it with no issues at all...

Did you try a different battery and/or power cable?

It's broke. You need to sell it to me for like $10...
;)

well I tested it on the bp 50 and it turned on so I guess I gotta call eco charge since the 6v side of the EC 90 appears to be the issue...

sounds like a cable to me.
Sell it to Nick anyways for $10 :P

my V2 did something simialr at the XMAS jam last year, Set everything up,m powered up, and no phantom on the right channel. Unplugged everything, tried again, no go. did this about ten times and it finally powered up. Sent it to Grace who could not find a problem after several hours of bench testing - sent it back and no problem ever since. Weird.

sounds like when one has a car looked at, it never has the problem at the repair shop....glad it is working right.

well I have continued to have problems with the V2 not powering up so I bought a new EC-90 as a backup to have anyways and when it got here same issue...I broke down and called Jamie at Grace told him the story and how I was leaving town later this week to go tape the springest and was kinda worried. he told me it was probably a resistor that had some corrosion on it. took the top off he pointed me to the issue and grabbed a pair of needle nose pliars and pulled it out got a q-tip dipped it in alcohol and rubbed the ends of the resistor down put it back in and the issue was solved...told me that he has seen this a few times with V2's doing this fixed the issue most every time....Kudos to Grace Design and their willingness to take care of their customers.

Sorry for the late post on this. My V2 was exhibiting behavior not quite like this, instead of not powering up, the clip lights would come on steady, and a noxious buzz was eminating from the device. It turned out to be a bone-hea mistake, I was failing to turn off the phantom power before turning the device on.
Thought this may prevent others from making my mistake.
Thanks For the Update on how well Grace helped trouble-shoot the issue.
