Title: DA-P1 & Nak 300 Q. Need quick answer!

Borrowing a DA-P1 for the next coupla days to tape some shows. Tried it out last night at a show..
Running Naks > DaP1. Got some distortion using the Mic in (even with the pad).
HOPING that the Line In will suffice tonight for Nebula...

Anyone try this combo? Hoping I don't get the same distortion..
Batts in the mics good, I could run the pads on the mics and then run the pad on the deck, but I really don't wanna get another funky recording...

ideas??

Need an answer fast!

You should be okay if you use line in w/ no pads. Mic in is WAY to hot for the gear we use.

Will let you know how it turns out!!
Even if it is bad, will have other sources..
Vivanco EM-160 > D8
DSM6's > D8
possible board patch if we can scrounge up another deck. ;)
