Recorded from the board last night and am on tour, taping again tonite. The master wav had a skips. Anyone have any clues what could be the cause? I have the latest firmware and have a 4 gig flash memory.
Thanks!

not even remotely enough information to help ya..
what brand flash card?
what inputs were you using on the MT?
what settings on the MT were you using?
ie: what sample rate/bit depth?

what settings on the MT were you using? Can you explain more?

what is the exact card type?
can you describe the "skips"? are they distortion?

if it is a microdrive, it could be vibration that is causing the skips. switch to compact flash. i've used the kingston elite pro 4gig 45x on several board recordings - 1/4" trs line inputs (xlr-to-trs & rca-to-ts) & have had no problems.
good luck!

Thanks! I was thinking it was either battery or the flash card.
