This is a little like saying "OK, I already bought pants and shoes, now can someone tell me what color shirt to buy?"
The only good advice I can offer is don't bite off more than you can chew. A lot of folks think they want to get into taping and drop thousands of dollars on gear. Then they get bored or for whatever reason they stop taping and it's a huge investment lost. Start off with a decent budget rig (3-400 for mics, tops) and see what you think before you dive in too deep.
Lots of good stuff in the yard sale at any given time.

Don't forget cables, a stand, a clamp, T-bar or vert bar, shockmounts, a bag. Could easilly burn up some funds there.

if you desperatly need mics soon you could probably find a pair of akg c1000s for around 200 used. if you can wait, which would be well worth it IMO, and get around 300 to invest in some mics you'll have many options...studio projects c4 - nakamichi cm300 - adk sc-t - octava mc012 - to name just a few. but as mentioned you'll need another couple hundred or so for all the other "accessories".
i'd suggest you check out archive.org and check out some shows using the above mentioned mics with a ua-5, there should be plenty of shows out there to see what sound you like better.

Buy some C4's used!!! :D
I might be upgrading soon to some TL's and well be selling my C4's for $150-$200 only a year old in the near future.

Check out Ebay too...I just picked up a brand new set of Studio Projects C4's for $250. It was a 'Submit Best Offer' and they guy was really great about working with me and getting me such a good deal. Soon I will be getting my UA-5 back from busman and my new rig will be complete...bbbwwwwaaaahahahaha...well complete until I save up some more money for another set of mics...the upgrade bug will never end will it? And being a member of this board and reading and finding out more info doesn't help that bug! :P (well it helps me want to spend more money that I don't have)
