Hey has anyone ever done n e recording of old records? i was thinkin about hookin my record player up to my ua5>JB3 has anyone tried it? will it even work>?

i've transfered some of my rare and bootleg lps to cdr turntable>pre>cdr stand alone.basically you get an exact digital of the vinyl.which could be good or bad

just make sure to get a phono pre.  a regular pre won't cut it as you lose the record eq curve.

i have done it w/ great results. the svu-1 is a big help
