Has anyone used this battery to power a UA-5, It's 9.6V/2000 mAh. The 9V "walmart" battery is much harder to find now. The energizer battery is in every store around here and is about half the size. At just $30 seems to be a great deal. Just wondering if anyone has used it and if it lasts long enough. Thanks

never tested it but with my 5400/9v walmart i get 4-5 hrs running my ua-5 and jb3
so with this you would think prob 2hrs MAX
running just a ua5 you could prob get thru a whole show but if you can find a "walmart" i would do that instead

Try to find the old style wallyworld batt on closeout for the same or lower price or check ebay for the same battery with different branding. That new battery, while both smaller physically and capacity wise, also doesn't mate as well with other equipment, ie with that domed top, it's more difficult to velcro to other items and have it as stable.
<edit> for a bad case of fat/frozen fingers </edit>

The ER-DVD is NiMH and so is the mini one you mention. Not near as good power to weight ratio.
If you can find the plain er-dvd you will probably be happier. This one will go less than 2 hours to the UA5
