Post by: Popmarter on February 18, 2006, 09:09:42 AM
It's probably the wrong forum, but i don't know where to put it else.

The excellent Tapetracker.com software is now free (and no longer supported). I have been using this wonderfull piece of software for 5 years now and it's just great. Grab a copy! http://www.tapetracker.com/ (http://www.tapetracker.com/)

Any tixs for me?  :)

Looks interesting, but I'm not sure I want to do all the importing work to use it.

I used to use this software back when I was trading.  I still have it on my computer even, although I haven't opened it in a couple of years...

It's actually really easy to import a flat text file list into it.  There is NOT a lot of work involved, surprisingly enough.

Again...i lost part of the database due to own stupidity. I do not want to fill it again and check all cds. I am now in the process of putting everything i have to external harddrive, starting with the SHN/FLAC recordings (masters and downloaded shows). What should i do with the normal audio cds...i do not have all the info anymore and most stuff can be downloaded with a know lineage, 40% of the cds do not have a know lineage.

any suggestion? I have around 600 gigs (x2 een 1200 cd's).
