Title: winamp levels higher when streaming on the lma ?
Post by: Tye on February 19, 2006, 02:42:43 PM
I've noticed that the levels (vu meter) of shows I tape are much higher and more evenly balanced
on my win/flacamp when you stream from the lma.

Does anyone know why the levels change? Is it just the compression of the mp3 that is streaming?
I'm not saying it changes the sound I've  just notice that they do change.
For example

heya..  If I understand correctly..  I would say it is the compression of the streaming audio..    are ya listening to uncompressed files at home?

That's what I'm thinking. The "Before" picture is my flac file the "After" is the same flac file streamed (HiFi) from the lma
