According to the specs I found when putting together this thread (http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=35002.msg446191#msg446191), it only records in MP3.  I suppose one could record with it, I guess the question is would one want to.  IMO, no.  But MP3 may be good enough for some folks.  No idea if it's been done, whether it's reliable, if it introduces artifacts or even if it sounds any good.

i almost bought one until i saw it only records in mp3.  thought i could sell of the jb3 and just use this as a back up to the mt...but i think i'm gonna hold on to the jb3 a bit longer and wait for something nice to pop up with video playback.

Do you guys have any recommendations besides the JB3 and Microtracker that are good for recording? I would like something that is close to $200, if you have any ideas let me know.

i search H1xx and H3xx and nothing comes up. Do you mean H100 and H300 series?

I'd be more than happy to take the JB3 off your hands if you would like to sell it now.

Thats fine, I'm bidding on one on Ebay right now. $75 right now, would be a steal if somehow it wins, but I''m thinking it will get up to $100 by the end of the bidding at least.
