Title: is a matrix using soundforge possible
Post by: cbd on February 20, 2006, 05:24:57 PM
taped Patterson's solo band 2/10 using the 744. I ran 4 tracks in as mono tracks R&L aud and R&L sbd

I used soundforge to plug in right & left stereo tracks for each source  and then saved them as both 24 bit & dithered/resampled to 16/44.1

Charles Fox explained & pointed me to a link explaining how to do it in wavelab but I only have soundforge

anyone know how to mix them together using that program.

am I correct that I don't have to worry about tape stretch or any of those other issues in the old matrix how to threads since the 4 sources were time coded using the 744????

also Brian: before you buist my balls, I saw your links in the other thread & read them but none of them dealt with soundforge

I think wookie uses soundforge on the matrix's he did for you.  it's not very hard using the montage in wavelab 5.
