Me again :)
Can we have input from users using either one or other battery boxes with DPA4061´s and a M1?
I know the one to get should be the MMA6000 but seen prices here on the web and I was heart broken, dont have that much $$ to spend, like $500 plus shipping, I still need to purchase the DPA´s that would be huge for me at the moment.
So my humble question:
If using the MPS6030 for example taping loud stuff, or near a speaker stack the results are OK? clipping? boomy bass? etc?
As I mentioned in previous posts, I want to upgrdade my current mics, OKMII/R I had them for 5 years! and never ever used the bass roll off filter switch. Used in rock/pop concerts, arena sizes, clubs. and sometimes loud metal.
Yes I know, the DPA setup is different, just want to know if using the MPS6030 makes the job, or really worth to getting the MMA6000 and save money to get it?

What he said ;D

Yes, you'll be fine with the MPS. Small box, very stealthy, especially after removing that belt clip... I bet the MMA sounds a little better, but for a simple, straight forward and easy to use stealth setup, the MPS is perfect.

Main difference between MMA and MPS?

gain controls for left and right channels

Yep, apart from size, price, and sound, the MPS is simply a power supply (no extra gain or any other features), whereas the MMA is a pre-amp with two separate gain controls and a high pass filter.
