So I am erasing all the tracks off my JB3 because I am not using it anymore since I got a 744(well sometimes for backup)...Well I cleared everything off the JB3 hd and checked under the settings tab and then the 'about' feature ...It is telling me that I have 7249MB of Free space????? of a total 19056MB...Has anyone else had issues like this??? Or some of you may need to check this on your JB3 to make sure it is not a common problem.

Do not use "erase" on the JB3...just reformat when it gets full...

i have never used erase....only the 'delete track' option on the jb3 +t's
edit...did disk cleanup and it is now saying 8177MB...hmmm
edit2....I see...now everything I erased is showing up on the JB3 again...time to delete those and try again
edit3...hell yes....one of the tracks it put back on the jb3 was my missing 2nd set to an outformation show...nice

"Delete track" is what I meant - don't use it - It makes JB3s cranky...fill your JB3 and "reformat" when necessary...
Unless you are missing some tracks - then use "clean up" - I think you've just discovered its virtues!

Roving Sign has it bang on. +t
Live and die by disk cleanup and reformat.

Thank You, Thank You...I now know the proper way to delete files on a jb3 and I have only owned it for about 15 months :P +T, in another 11 hours
