Title: Going to audio tape my first show tomorrow.. Any last min tips?
Post by: 998877 on March 22, 2006, 10:04:28 PM
Hey. Im going to tape my first show, a loud rock show in a small club tomorrow.

My setup is this. I have a Microtrack 2496,   SP-CMC-8 cardioid mics,  and the SP-MICROTRACK-INTERFACE to plug my mics into. And a 2GB sandisc flash card.

All bought from SoundProfessionals.

I am planning on cutting 2 small holes in my top shirt, cliping my mics to my undershirt, and pulling the mics through..

The mics came with 2 sets of screens, thin and thick, do i need either one at all?

I don't know too much about audio taping, so any tips would be great, i.e should i point the mics left and right? What imput should I use?  Where should I set the levels on the Microtrack?

Thanks in advance...
