Title: Logic recording program for mac questions????
Post by: nugjams on March 28, 2006, 09:30:33 PM
Does anyone know about this program. I'm getting a new mac and the pro audio guy at macoutfitters recommends this program for what I'm looking for.  (taping live shows of coarse)  I was wondering if anyone has had success with this program or not.  Is it a difficult program to grasp and if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks

I had 5.0 for windows, and I loved it.  There were some books, but I learned a lot from watching the engineer when my band recorded in a studio.   From what I hear its only gotten much better.  The automation was great.

actually, it seems to me that this might be a bit much for taping.  you probably only need a mastering program such as wavelab or something like that. I don't think the version of logic I had had any mastering tools....

Logic is overkill and a half for merely recording live shows.
