Title: Advice for upgrade from OKMII Rock
Post by: thomasdk7 on April 08, 2006, 02:34:15 PM
Hey all

I would like some inputs from you all concerning an upgrade from OKM II Rock mics.
I use binural mics clipped on my shirt close to the PA, I would like to keep it this way.
Can anyone give me advice on an upgrade to better mics???
Both advice on the best mics I can get, and also mics that would be better but not too much more expensive.

Hello:
Im in the very same situation as you, also have OKMII/R and is time to upgrade.  I have done an extense research here and most of the people recomend the DPA4061´s  but they are ultra expensive, like $1000
So, the second choice of recomendations were the SP-CMC-8  use them with NO battery box, use phanotm power to get higher SPL and avoid clipping.
Still waiting to receive them.
