Which is the better cable? I was looking at marertek and they have both, the mogami is more expensive, but looking throught the archives it looks like lots of people have been using canare for their custom cable. The mogami cable I was looking at is here http://www.markertek.com/MTStore/store.cfm?framed=/MTStore/product.CFM?BaseItem=SC3XXJ

Adding to this.......I'm thinking about making my own cables now too(mic). Money isn't a HUGE issue, so I'm hoping to get the best. I'm going Neutrik right angles, but as far as cables go, what would be the best(as far as quality, construction, and sound) be? I know it's all a personal thing, but just throw out a ball park assumption

I use the Magami's and have no problems with them.

as long as it sounds good. I dont want to get some 40 dollar a foot cable (who would) that is supposed to be "the best" out there. But at the same time, I dont want to skip out on spending a few extra bones and getting better quality cables

From what I have read, and all the research I did, mogami is considered cheapish cable, good for the price, but wholly outperformed by canare big time!

when i was reading up on cables i read that in 3 or 4 places that was no difference in the two except for that canare costs more mogami, never read anything that said the mogami was a "cheapish" cable, not that you are lying or anything but it's not a ratshack cable or maybe i am defending my cables ??? mike
