Word. Out of my price range for the forseeable future, though.
-
same.
plus, it would need to wait in line behind other hardware I lust over at the moment.
-
yea, those will drop below six bills, i betcha
-
Great, now I have another toy to lust after. :)
I'm glad Bel Canto opted for a more traditional setup for the DAC 3 rather than going with the same layout as the DAC 1 and 2. I always thought having the inputs and outputs on the side was awkward, the DAC 3 looks to be much easier to deal with. Hopefully once these start hitting the street the price of the DAC 1.1 and DAC 2 will drop so I can pick one up on the cheap.

Does anyone know anything about those Omega speakers a little further down on that 6moons page? They look great, are in my price range, and there's a dealer only an hour or so from home.

oops my bad. I found the link for Omega through the 6moons site but they're not actually on there. So..........does anyone know anything about these speakers?

they're actually on the front and back. I like the inputs being on the front because I have two coax feeds that I need to switch between - the front panel access makes this very easy.
that said the new setup is pretty damn slick looking!

tell you the best thing about the new setup- a lot of phono pres are half sized as well, so you can easily fill a shelf with the dac and the pre.

FWIW: I'm personally a little leery of speakers using full range drivers (other than panel speakers), they are usually more colored than traditional designs.
