Title: SP-SPSB-6 good for DPA's?
Post by: Depechemode1993 on April 29, 2006, 10:34:33 PM
looking to get ultra stealthy. But I am not sure if I can use this as a good power source for my 4061's. can anyone confirm that this will work. as it is 9V and thats what 4061s need I am guessing it will power them well if I go:

DPA 4061 -> SP-SPSB-6 -> Sony M1/D8/D100

but also using my ECM-717 do you think it will make my mic a bit more powerful? as I usually go line in with the 717 and use the watch battery that powers the mic.

I am thinking about getting it. a 3-inch cord, no bass roll off? I am planning on velcroing it to the side of the deck as it is realatively small. here is a pic, but you guys probably know what it looks like. any input would be nice! thanks.

You need to modify the 4061s to go into 1 plug..?

Oh, you handy man... :-[

I have no mod skills, but hopefully with the Church-Audio preamp the rig won't become so big anyway
