Anyone have any idea how to convert a Pro Tools session to be read in Samplitude? I *REALLY* need help.

Doesnt PT have a BWF as a save as??

Well I have all the individual audio files, but I'm in a studio right now that doesn't have Pro Tools, so I'm looking at a full session of audio with no way of knowing what tracks mean what.
-
so the studio you are in runs samplitude, right?
Is samplitude open?
-
can you give me a screenshot? or file suffix?
-
i'm assumming you've already started mixing in pro tools so unless you saved an OMF i don't think that you can transfer it. i'm not familiar with samplitude so i'm not sure if there are any options beyond that.

Sequoia/Samplitude can work with OMF files or BWF, both of which I think are options to save as in PT.

Re-read the original post. Sounds like he has a .pts, not an OMF. He wants the settings for the session, not the raw wav files.
Without an OMF I believe you're out of luck for a conversion of the session. Of course, in this town you can't throw a rock without hitting a Pro Tools Studio. Sounds like your best bet is to go across the street and book an hour of time to make some OMFs (or wherever the nearest PT studio is)...

My ignorance with pro tools really shows. I thought he had a bunch of files and wanted to know if those files would open up in Samplitude. I didnt even know .pts was a format. ;D

Got it taken care of. The engineer had originally saved it incorrectly and we got him to fix the problem. And yeah, I was trying to convert a .pts (pro tools session) but the only thing I could find converted 5.0 sessions only. Oh well. ;)
