Title: I'm considering buying used DPA4061's - advice?
Post by: formengr on May 13, 2006, 01:43:44 PM
SSIA.  they have microdot ends but i have a SP b-box so i will need 1/8" (unless some kind sole's willing to donate a dpa box ::) ).  there's nothing to swapping out the ends, right?  seems like i've ready something about the dpa wires being, i dunno, different.  is it simply trim off microdot, trim wiring and solder new 1/8" end?  is there anything i should be asking the seller aside from how loved have they been?  any and all advice is appreciated since this is sort of a healthy purchase.  thanks!

I would second this...
and soldering these tiny cables is a bitch.

best to get some adapters.
